Washington Law Review Online

Home

Washington Law Review Online is the online arm of Washington Law Review. Founded in 2014, the journal features content that enriches the print edition and provides an expanded platform to publish responses to legal developments in Washington State and the Ninth Circuit.

Washington Law Review Online will publish essays, responses, rejoinders, and other short, timely content relevant to Washington and Ninth Circuit practitioners. While law review articles often situate themselves within existing research, our pieces start new conversations. Essays can be more conversational and theoretical than traditional articles, freer in form, and contribute to legal scholarship by discussing a new idea or making a philosophical critique. WLRO prefers essay submissions of 6,000 to 10,000 words including footnotes.
